This may be useful, or serve no purpose, depending on your use of Social Media to promote your message, or your business. Below you’ll see an embedded Tweet that came from a post I put on Facebook, with a link back to an article on my personal blog. So, posting this here now, in some ways closes the loop. Perhaps I need a graphic to illustrate this concept?
Recently, my business has seen an increased focus on website and blog creation. I’m pretty sure my blogs would see far less traffic if I did not share my posts on Social Media. If you’d like to have more visitors to your business website, it makes sense to create content that helps people find you. The end result is the KLT value you get by giving prospects the opportunity to see and hear what you are willing to share about your interests. On my personal blog, I talk about anything that moves me (at times, even painful topics) that merely serve my need to continue writing.

This weekend, I’m going to craft an email message to send to my desert networking professionals. With that message, I am going to offer some of my time, “for free” – not that I have free time…. What I would like to do is interview anyone who is interested and write an article that I will post on my blog. This article (if I do it right) will have plenty of opportunities for links back to the affected business website.
I’m not clear on the benefit to me for providing this service, but I’m hoping to understand that at some point. Clearly, the original goal here is to see if anyone will actually accept this offer of free service. Perhaps something that is offered at no cost is also perceived to be of no value.
I’ll keep you posted on the results of this experiment. You will, of course, have to come back to my blog, my Facebook page, or follow me on Twitter, or any of the other places I’ll post about this, to keep up with progress. Maybe that is one of the few benefits I will receive by doing this here.
I’ve started the stopwatch and will stop typing at five minutes, so I can add a couple of images to this post. Then, I’ll use HootSuite to push this post out to two Facebook pages, Twitter and Google+, along with another WordPress site I maintain for reasons I’ll explain to the group.
The point of this exercise is to dispel the notion that Social Media takes “too much time!” Sure, you can spend hours scrolling through every post on Facebook, or perusing every Tweet on Twitter. That is up to you, however, as to how you behave as a consumer of Social Media offerings. What is important here is to show that in less than ten minutes, I can produce one post and have it show up in five more places on the web.
What do you think that does for visibility and SEO? OK, my stopwatch is at 4:54 now….

Hi, Steve – that’s a great question and I hope you find an easy answer. As an SEO service provider, I’ve worked on finding the same answer for many years. Just do a search for mousehelp, or mouse help and you’ll see I’m making progress…. Search, “Palm Desert SEO Expert” and you’ll find better search engine results pages (SERPS) for the work I’ve done.
My questions to you: Are you going to do the work yourself, or are you looking for someone you can pay to provide these services? The answer to what is affordable comes down to return on your investment – of either time or money. If every new client represents $1000 in income for your business and you get one new client for every $100 you invest in SEO services, does that match your idea of “any affordable way?”
You can do this yourself. You simply have to regularly post good content with links back to your website. By good content, I mean relevant to the people who search.
Example: If I were to write an article on basket weaving and link it to my site about SEO, that would be considered irrelevant and pointless by the algorithms Google runs. Trust me, they are good at weeding out junk.
Better example: You write an article detailing the many benefits of acupuncture, with links back to your website for further reading, and post it on your blog, post it on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the multitude of other social media sites, and if you get enough interest, Google will take notice and give you the “SEO juice” you seek.
Best example (for me): I’m going to use my answer here, along with your original question, to create an article for my blog – http://rouzell.net – and post it with links back to http://mousehelp.org and http://palmdesertseo.com/ – then post on Fb and Tw, just as I’ve told you to do.

Let’s say that you’ve just posted something on Facebook and you want to preserve it for posterity on another website or blog. Here’s what I’m doing here.
After I posted something on my profile page (a.k.a., my personal Facebook page), I shared it, with a couple of complementary links, on my Facebook fan page (a.k.a., my business Facebook page), so my fans could see what I’ve been up to on a Saturday afternoon. Are you with me so far?
Then, on my Facebook fan page, I click the little drop-down menu arrow at the top right of the post. 
From that menu, I click Embed Post. (You may have to choose “More Options,” to get to “Embed Post.”) Facebook shows the code you need to copy, which links to your post from a web page, Tweet, or wherever it was you were going with this.
Now that I have the code, all I have to do to put it on this 
page, is paste it into a frame and we should be good to go!
